About Velvet

Velvet is a Berlin-based fashion-tech project building the future of online shopping. With AI-powered virtual try-on, agentic search, and personalized styling, Velvet is exploring how fashion, technology, and culture intersect.

We're looking for ambitious students who want to use Velvet as a case study for their thesis, project, or portfolio work. Together, we'll explore how AI and fashion can go viral on social media.

Your Role

• •Research Gen-Z engagement strategies and test them on TikTok/Instagram.
• •Experiment with short-form video, memes, and interactive content.
• •Conduct street interviews and user research in Berlin to create authentic content.
• •Help shape Velvet's online presence and communication style.
• •Optional: Use this work as a bachelor's/master's thesis topic (e.g. "AI-powered fashion communication").

Who You Are

• •Student in communications, marketing, digital media, or fashion communication.
• •Curious about AI, fashion, and social media culture.
• •Active on TikTok/Instagram and excited to experiment with trends.
• •Proficient with content creation tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
• •Comfortable with street interviews and user research — willing to go out in Berlin to record and engage with users.
• •Motivated to combine academic work + real-world startup practice.
